5600 Series Internal Defect Detectors
Description
5600 Series Internal Defect Detectors offer increased performance
over the 506 Series
PDF
- Eight times more transmitter energy than the old workhorse 506
Series; the most powerful system available.
- Forty Eight times the Signal-to-Noise Ratio of the 506 Series.
- Readily interfaces with popular Mill Net Systems.
- Inspects products exceeding 3.5" thickness.
- Sharp, crisp definition of defect edges, even in extremely noisy
environments due to new, collimated beam sensors.
- Variable frequency transmitters.
- Proven, effective technology from the developers of the worlds'
first successful blow detector, the 506 System.
Features of the Model 5600
- Well proven, excellent longevity, durable and experienced with
a wide range of products and operating environments.
- Imbedded industrial grade PC provides for downloadable recipes,
system diagnostics, process diagnostics and much wider parameters.
- A signal to noise ratio 50 times greater than the 506 provides
reliable operation in very adverse environments.
- High energy transmitters easily penetrate thick or difficult
to test materials.
- Collimated sensor beams provide maximum defect detection capability.
- User set, sophisticated defect definition parameters.
- System circuit boards and transducers are form, fit and function
design.
- Encoder determines travel distance and provides accurate placement
of defect marks. This allows the marker system to be
placed away from the scanner, thus preventing marker ink from back
spraying on sensors.
- Individual scan zone marker test switches.
- Produced in antistatic environment, pre-shipment burn in.
- Antifungal, anti-humidity coatings on circuit boards.
- Air-coupled, noncontact, nonintrusive sensors. Encoder
is the only moving part.
